HC: DISSEMINATING RADICAL IDEOLOGY ONLINE ATTRACTS UAPA CHARGES

Even the usage of social media or any digital activities for disseminating radical information and ideology constitutes a punishable offence under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Delhi high court held, as it denied bail to an alleged overground worker of The Resistance Front (TRF) terror outfit.
The court made the observations in its order dated July 7, which was uploaded on July 11, while dealing with a petition filed by Arsalan Feroze Ahenger, challenging a September 2024 ord
