GURURGAM: A structural audit of Tower B at Chintels Paradiso in Gurugram's Sector 109 has deemed the ninth and final tower in the condominium unsafe for habitation and recommended its safe demolition, people aware of the matter said on Monday.

The audit, conducted by the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), was commissioned by Chintels India Ltd, the developer, and submitted to a district committee overseeing the issue. Officials said the matter will be discussed at the committee's next meeting. The report cited high corrosion of reinforcement and elevated chloride levels in the concrete as key factors for the recommendation. It noted that retrofitting was unfeasible as the cost exceeded 50% of the building's original construction expendit
