22 Villages Near Kherki Daula Toll Plaza Seek Waiver

Residents of nearly 22 villages in and around Manesar on Sunday held a meeting and demanded that toll fees should not be levied on them as they stay within 20km of the Kherki Daula toll plaza.
GURUGRAM: Locals said that according to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) rules, toll fees cannot be imposed on villagers who live within the specified distance.
The villagers held a meeting at Kherki Daula, submitted a memorandum to the district authorities and demanded free movement for their vehicles.
Pachgaon Chowk Committee president, Mahender Singh, said that during his recent visit to the transport ministry in Delhi, he got the information that villages within 20 km of the toll plaza are exempted from paying fees.
