Women top in drinking, doing drugs in MP: State Cong chief; BJP hits out

Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari has kicked up a huge controversy by claiming that women in the state consume more alcohol and drugs than anywhere else in the country, drawing criticism from chief minister Mohan Yadav, who demanded his removal.
“Madhya Pradesh has got a tamga (medal) as women of the state consume more alcohol than anywhere else in the country. The BJP, which dreams of making Madhya Pradesh a prosperous state, is responsible for this situation,” Patwari said on Monday.
