Noida: 4km kanwar route mapped

As the kanwar yatra set to begin next week, Noida traffic police have finalised a plan to manage the movement of pilgrims through the city on their way to Delhi and Faridabad, officials said on Thursday.

In Noida, kanwariyas will enter through Mayur Vihar, pass landmarks such as the Shani Temple and the Okhla Bird Sanctuary, and exit at Kalindi Kunj, covering a stretch of approximately four kilometres.

To streamline traffic, a dedicated kanwar cell has been formed, police said.
