The Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) not to take coercive action against Meta Platforms over listings on Facebook Marketplace that require statutory approvals, without first giving the platform a hearing.
Abench of Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav said the platform could not be penalised on the basis of “vague or omnibus directions”.
