Girls' grammar students tackle misogyny in the workplace
Herald Express
|June 25, 2025
STUDENTS from Torquay Girls' Grammar School (TGGS) have joined local businesses in a roundtable aimed at tackling misogyny and unsafe cultures in the workplace.
-
The event, hosted by Torbay MP Steve Darling, marked a significant moment for TGGS, which has been raising the issue for several years.
Deputy head teacher Emma Browne has repeatedly been highlighting student concerns, including in meetings with the former MP and a former Government minister.
The roundtable saw a cross-sector of voices coming together in a shared commitment to change.
