AN unloved shop at the heart of Paignton is being auctioned this week - with bids starting at just £1.

The former sandwich bar and estate agency in busy Hyde Road has been standing empty for several years. Auctioneers say the sorry-looking “pound shop” is crying out for some entrepreneurial spirt to bring it back to life.
