'Dementia bus' highlights challenges

Hamilton community representatives took part in an immersive experience to highlight the challenges experienced by people living with dementia by stepping into an innovative simulator.
They were taking part in the “dementia bus experience” as it was brought to Lanarkshire for the first time by locally-based care services company Bluebird Care.
More than 60 visitors from the town's businesses, charities and volunteer groups attended over two days to take part in the awareness-raising experience in the vehicle, parked at the company’s Cadzow Street base.
