Various parts of the UAE experience light to heavy rain

Various parts of the country on Tuesday experienced light to heavy rain, including Al Tuwaiyin, north of Masafi, Wadi Al Sidr in the Eastern Region, and Wadi Koub, north of Fujairah.

This was due to the country being affected by an extension of a weak surface low pressure system accompanied by a weak upper-level low pressure system.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) urged people to take safety precautions in rainy conditions.
