Terrorists, facilitators will be dealt with iron hands: ISPR

Pakistan's military spokesman said on Friday the death toll in a train hijacking in the country’s southwestern mountains had risen to 31 and he repeated accusations that Afghanistan backed the militants who carried it out.
-
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that terrorists and their enablers and facilitators would be challenged both inside and outside the country, as he held a press conference related to the Jaffar Express attack. “We have evidence that all the links to terrorism in Pakistan are traced back to Afghanistan.”
“Terrorists will be dealt with as they deserve, as those who drag innocent people out of buses and slaughter them, a group that divides people by ethnicity, have no connection to Baloch [ethnicity] or Islam."
General Chaudhry, who was flanked by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti at the presser, provided a brief detail of the incident again and said that the terrorists had deliberately selected a remote location to conduct the attack. “The reason I am mentioning the location is that the terrain was extremely difficult, making physical access very challenging. There were no mobile signals there either.”
