'Pledge a Library' empowers over 11,000 UAE students

Kalimat Foundation (KF) has announced a nationwide rollout of its "Pledge a Library" initiative in the United Arab Emirates, set to reach more than 11,000 students across 15 charity schools by equipping them with portable libraries that include 2,000 curated Arabic books.
The campaign will also deliver reading and learning programmes and onsite activities designed to nurture a lasting passion for knowledge. The launch coincides with the start of the 2025-2026 academic year and aligns with the UAE's designation of 2025 as the “Year of Community.”
Backed by Multiply Group and the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), the campaign aims to help build sustainable learning environments that broaden opportunities for learning and innovation. It supports the quality of teaching and learning in charity schools that serve thousands of students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
