Light rain could accompany overcast skies today

Various areas across the United Arab Emirates experienced light rainfall on Wednesday, with a gradual decrease in tem- peratures, as the country was affected by an ‘extension of a low-pressure system fromthe east and a high-pressure system from the west. This was accompanied by an extension of a weak upper-level low-pressure system, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM reported that light rain fell on vari- ‘ous areas, including Tarif, Bada Da’afas, Jazirat Qarnain, Jazirat Dalma, Jazirat Al Yasat, and Baynoona in Al Dhafra region.
Additionally, rain also fell on Nahal, Al Hayer, Sweihan, Al Shawib, Al Fagaa in Al Ain, Bani Yas,
Al Shawamekh, Madinat Shakhbout, Ashab, Al Ajban, Madinat Mohamed Bin Zayed, Al Falah, Al Bahiyah, and Mahwe in Abu Dhabi, and Seih Al Salam in Dubai, as well as Al Hamidiyaiin Ajman.
The NCM reported that Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah recorded the lowest temperature on Wednesday morning, at I4.3°C at 5:45am.
