Imran’s sisters hold sit-in outside Adiala Jail

The police forcefully ended the hours-long sit-in staged by Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's sisters and a handful of party’s supporters near the Adiala Jail Rawalpindi around midnight to protest authorities’ refusal to allow them to meet him.
The police used water cannons to scatter the protesters. Some of them resisted the police operation by hurling stones, leading to the arrests of a few PTI workers.
In video statements while heading to the prison, Aleema alleged that the state had been violating the law while insisting that Imran Khan-founded PTI has not done anything illegal, daily Dawn reported.
She said, “If they do operate illegally and we do our work according to the law, and if they are right and we are wrong, then that shows just how our system works.”
Aleema Khan mentioned that Imran has not been permitted to meet his personal physician for the past [4 months.
She asked, “What is the issue in allowing one doctor to meet Imran Khan?" She said, "When Nawaz Sharif went to jail, a doctor was with him all day, counting his platelets,” and asked, “What sort of system is this?”
The protesters gathered at the Factory checkpoint after Imran Khan's sister Noreen, Aleema and Uzma Khan were denied a meeting with him in prison.
Former senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan also reached out to express solidarity with the PTI founder's sisters.
