COLOMBO: Riding on Laura Wolvaardt blistering 90 and Nadine de Klerk’s fiery cameo of 16-ball 41, South African women defeated Pakistan in their ODI World Cup match by 150 runs by D/L method in a rain-marred match.

After posting a huge total of 312/9 in 40 over, South African eves restricted a hapless Pakistan for 83/7 after the latter were given a revised target of 234 in 20 overs.
Earlier, captain Wolvaardt led from the front with a sublime 90, and Marizanne Kapp finished with a blistering unbeaten 68 as South Africa powered to a commanding 312 for 9 in a rain-affected 40-over contest.
