Congress prepares itself for Kerala election

Top Congress leaders gathered on Sunday for a crucial two-day brainstorming session in Wayanad, Kerala, as they prepare for state elections that are just three months away.
The election dates for Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry are expected to be announced by India’s Election Commission in early March.
The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) is confident after recent victories in parliamentary and civic elections and bypolls over the past two years.
This momentum is likely to influence the discussions at the Congress's Lakshya 2026 camp, being held in the touristy hill district.
Approximately 200 leaders from across the state are attending the meeting, focusing on election strategies, campaign initiatives, and candidate selection processes.
