Bangladeshi officer commends Dubai Police

DUBAI: Superintendent of Police ANM Maruf Abdullah of the Bangladesh Police praised Dubai Police for its global leadership in security innovation and its forward-looking approach to modern policing.
He highlighted the force's strategic initiatives, particularly the Police Innovation and Leadership (PIL) Diploma, in which he participated alongside 54 officers from 38 countries.
Supt. Abdullah said the intensive training programme offered practical tools that could be immediately applied in Bangladesh, including methods to combat cryptocurrency fraud, use of blockchain in forensic evidence management, and the integration of artificial intelligence in police work. “In Bangladesh, we face growing challenges in cybercrime and financial fraud,” he explained.
