2nd edition of Kerala's surfing fest from April 10

TRIVANDRUM: The second edition of the International Surfing Festival of Kerala will be held from April 10 to 13 on the scenic Edava Beach in Varkala, a seaside getaway.
Competitions will feature categories such as the SUP Technical Race, Paddle Board Technical Race, and SUP Surfing, with approximately 60 local and international surfers participating.
The state's tourism board said the Surfing Federation of India and the International Surfing Association (ISA) provide technical support for the event.
Kerala targets to become an adventure sports hub and events like the surfing festival will enhance its culture and popularity of such sports and turn Varkala into a major surfing destination in India.
