'SAD MOMENT FOR HUMANITY' Indian expats pay tributes to victims of Air India crash

Indian expats in the UAE paid tributes to the victims of the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday at a curtain-raiser event for the upcoming International Day of Yoga.

The Indian Consulate in Dubai observed a minute of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in one of the most devastating plane crashes in recent history.

Consul General of India in Dubai Satish Kumar Sivan led the solemn tribute, joined by community leaders, yoga instructors, and members of the media. Attendees expressed their solidarity with the families affected by the disaster. “It’s a very sad moment for not just Indians, for all of humanity. We should all stand together and pray for their peace,” Sivan said.
