The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has joined the growing chorus of opposition against the controversial Waqf Amendment Bill 2025, with Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Manoj Jha and party leader Fayaz Ahmed set to file a petition in the Supreme Court to challenge its provisions.
The petition, to be presented today, argues that the bill undermines the management of Waqf properties and infringes on the rights of the Muslim community.
