50 heart surgeries for children in Bangladesh

During the special days of Dhu Al Hijja, Sharjah Charity International has launched a compassionate initiative called “Little Hearts”, aimed at saving the lives of children in Bangladesh suffering from severe heart conditions.

The charity will fund 50 life-saving heart surgeries, each costing Dh5,000, with a total project budget of Dh250,000.

The surgeries — including catheter-based procedures and open-heart operations — are being performed by a volunteer medical team led by Dr. Ahmed Al Kamali, a paediatric cardiologist at Al Qassimi Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
