GRIMSBY STORE UNDERGOES EXTENSIVE REFURBISHMENT

SUPERMARKET giant Asda said a big thank you to Grimsby customers in appreciation of the all the diamond years.

Grimsby boxer and Commonwealth super-featherweight champion Kirsty Hill was at the store with long-serving colleagues, to perform the official opening after an extensive refurbishment of the store in Holles Street.

It marks the firm's 60th anniversary and there wasn't a Grinch in sight as the staff prepared for the Christmas spending spree.

It is the latest store to be upgraded as part of a multi-million-pound investment programme to modernise key stores.

The enhancements to the Grimsby store include a simpler, more intuitive store layout, new feature lighting, and modern signage designed to modernise the space and improve the overall shopping experience for customers.
