Me too. Unfortunately though, as anything that tastes and smells good is bad for you.

But are there any which are good for you?

Wholegrain sourdough is the healthiest according to nutritionists.

It is made from a starter and during the thirty six hours it ferments is when the live bacteria eats the starch which breaks down alof of the gluten which for those people who are more sensitive to bloating is easier to digest.

The live bacteria is killed during the baking process but beneficial chemicals survive.

It is more expensive than a traditional loaf but worth it for health benefits, especially if it is the wholegrain version.
