Matson see off Chosen to reach final

MATSON have reached all three North Gloucester Combination Cup finals after booking their Senior Cup place with a 55-7 win over Chosen Hill FP on Tuesday.

After a last-minute change of venue, the game was played at Matson, who opened the scoring with an unconverted try from Ryan Woodhouse.

After another try by Tom Porter converted by Connor Gwilliam, Chosen Hill scored a converted try just before half time to cut the gap to 12-7.

Matson went up a gear in the second half with seven tries, scored by Shay O’Mally, Josh Locke, Fergus Jones, Shaun Knight and a hat trick for Tom Collier, four of them converted by Farrell Gwilliam.
