May 08, 2025

A LETTER circulating on Facebook about the future of the Wall’s Social Club in Gloucester purporting to be from the Home Office is fake.

The forgery, which has been circulated online, has been confirmed by official sources to be a hoax.

The letter falsely claimed that the site in Hammond Way, Barnwood, would be requisitioned.

Gloucester MP Alex McIntyre said the Home Office have confirmed the letter is a complete fabrication.
