GLOUCESTERSHIRE were fighting for a draw on day four of their County Championship Division Two clash with Glamorgan at Sophia Gardens.
-

They started the day on 12-0, 136 behind after Ben Kellaway and Colin Ingram hit centuries as Glamorgan opened up a first-innings lead of 148.
The pair put on 254 for the fifth wicket followed by stands of 82 and 48 for the seventh and eighth wickets to reach 528 from a mammoth 151.1 overs on a day where six wickets fell.
Joe Phillips and Cameron Bancroft resumed on the final day and took the score to 44 before Bancroft was trapped leg before by James Harris.
He was followed five runs later by Phillips, who fell to Kellaway, caught at short leg by Asa Tribe, making it 49-2 with Gloucestershire still 99 in arrears.
Miles Hammond joined Ollie Price and the pair set about stabilising the nings with a stand of 44 before Kellaway struck again, Price caught behind by Chris Cooke for 22 with the deficit still 55 runs.
Gloucestershire reached 108-3 at lunch, trailing by 40, and edged ahead by a run at 149-4 with Hammond reaching 50 before Graeme van Buuren became Kellaway’s third victim.
But Hammond (84 not out) and firstinnings centurion Bracey (12 not out) took Gloucestershire to 194-4 at tea, a lead of 46.
After recovering from 121-4 on day two, Glamorgan made the Gloucestershire bowlers endure all but 11 overs of the day’s play.
