From cars to cards Ben trades in old career for a new venture

GLOUCESTER man has taken the plunge and opened his own business after months of splitting his time between full-time employment and his new venture.
Many long hours later, his trading card business is open and draws in crowds from all over.
Ben Powell, 34, Gloucester, is the owner of a trading card shop called Full Fire TCG, which is based in The Docks.
The shop has a large space and over the months, the setting has grown in popularity and has loads of regulars who look forward to buying and playing trading cards.
He has been collecting and trading cards since he was a child, and decided last year to open the shop for other like-minded enthusiasts.
The shop in Unit B in the Biddle and Shipton Warehouse in The Docks sells almost anything trading card related, ranging from Disney, Pokemon, Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: the Gathering and more.
Ben had worked for a car dealership for 15 years until he decided to open up his trading card shop in December 2024.
