>>> DRYBROOK progressed into the next stage of the Papa Johns Regional 2 South Plate following a 52-14 win over Longlevens at the Mannings.

Brad Morgan crossed for the opening try, converted by Haydn Lewis before Cai Rogers made 30 metre before off-loading for Bailey Watts to score, Lewis again slotting the extra two points.

Drybrook scored again when Mitch Hale crashed through the defence, Lewis again on target from the tee to take the lead to 21-0 and Rogers extended the lead before Lewis again struck the conversion well.

The fifth try came from Luke Roberts, Lewis landing the difficult conversion for a 35-0 half-time lead.

Lewis went over to take the points tally to 40 before Longlevens rallied and scored their first try, the conversion added.

Drybrook responded as Sam Edwards went through for a try converted by Lewis, for 47-7.

Drybrook were then dealt a blow as Mitch Baldwin was sent off, Longlevens taking advantage to score a second converted try, but Drybrook had the last say as Sam Peaper went over from a catch and drive.

They have a bye in the quarter finals, and will host the winners of the Bournemouth v Beaconsfield game in the semi final on May 10.

Matson had a walkover in the Regional 1 Plate as Lydney withdrew, and are through to the semi-finals.
