Carnage Motorists face months of delays while estate junction is built

Roadworks are underway and the B4008 Bristol Road is closed at the A38 flyover to allow a new junction into the Hunts Grove estate.

The works are being carried out by developer Crest Nicholson and the closure, which started on Monday this week, will continue until October 31. One motorist said it was a “nightmare getting out of Quedgeley this morning,” he said.

"All Quedgeley traffic heading to the motorway is going via the Naas Lane roundabout and Waterwells, causing massive queues with people trying to get out of Kingsway onto single lane A38 all the way to the motorway."
