The end of the Buffalo Rally?

After decades of roaring engines, friendship and adrenaline, the Buffalo Rally - one of South Africa's most iconic motorcycle gatherings - may have come to its final stop.

Last August, Hartenbos played host to the 45th rally, but this could possibly mark the end of an era as Luderick Jacoby, the Nomads Motorcycle Club member who had organised the last 30 rallies, steps down. If no one steps forward to take over, this legendary event will be riding into the sunset for good.

For Jacoby, the rallies held in Mossel Bay were the most successful of all.
