SC sets May 20 for hearing interim pleas on Waqf Act

The Supreme Court on Thursday said that it will decide on May 20 the issue of considering prayers seeking the interim pause of the implementation of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025, while stating that it will not entertain any plea seeking the stay of any provisions of the 1995 law.
