Names like Hamirji Gohil, Vegadji Bhil and countless unnamed warriors echoed through the atmosphere, not merely as historical figures, but as eternal guardians whose sacrifice ensured that Somnath remained unconquered in spirit even when its stones were broken.

Yet, amid the tributes, the speeches and the sea of devotees, the moment that etched itself into collective memory was when the Prime Minister lifted the damru in his own hands and struck its sacred rhythm.
