Pulses imports plunge 45% in April-October

IMPORTS OF PULSES have contracted in the eight months through October as domestic production improved, reports Saikat Neogi.

In April-October this year, pulses imports fell by 45% to $1.5 billion as compared with $2.8 billion during the same period last year.
