We take pride in the above photo—it took hours of riding and a lot of guts to reach the deepest parts of the Aravalli in Rajasthan, atop a cliff, looking ahead to another cliff. Hero MotoCorp must also take a ride—for the Xpulse 210 is a rare machine that can let you explore such amazing places (which even a Thar, Jimny, or Wrangler cannot).
What is the Xpulse 210?
It is Hero’s all-terrain motorcycle—made for rocks and roads. It’s fitted with a 210-cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder petrol engine (24.6 PS and 20.7 Nm), and has a 6-speed gearbox. Its front tire is 21-inch, and the rear tire is 18-inch.
The bike is quite accessible—seat height is 830 mm, and ground clearance is 220 mm. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall, and was easily able to place my feet firmly on the ground. It weighs just 170 kg, and therefore balancing is easy.
