THERE ARE SPORTS bikes, amazing on a racetrack, and then there are retro-styled modern roadsters, for a relaxed riding experience. Seldom do they cross tracks. But the new BSA Gold Star 650 — a retro roadster — is as comfortable on the road, as mean it is on a racetrack. We took it for a spin on the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX) near Indore.
What is it?
Powered by a 652-cc single-cylinder engine (45.6 PS; 55 Nm), the BSA Gold Star 650 is a motorcycle made by Mahindra-backed Classic Legends. It's priced from ₹2.99 lakh to ₹3.34 lakh.
