Unsold stock in affordable homes space falls 19%

UNSOLD HOUSING STOCK stood at nearly 560,000 units at the end of the March quarter, down 4% annually, on strong sales, according to Anarock.

The data by the real estate consultant showed that unsold housing inventory fell to 559,808 units at the end of March 2025 from 580,895 units in the year-ago period across seven major cities. These cities are Delhi-NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune.
