Logistics cost to drop to single digit by year-end, says Gadkari

UNION ROAD TRANSPORT and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday said that India's logistics cost is set to fall to single digits by December 2025, calling it a milestone in the country's drive for global competitiveness.
Speaking at the“Economic Reforms 2.0: Future of Mobility" organised by Assocham, the minister said that the reduction in logistics costs will significantly boost industrial profitability, export competitiveness, and the global positioning of Indian products, citing a joint study by IIM Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Chennai.
