Murray and Boulter lead the British charge in SW19 with record number on single day

SIR Andy Murray was leading the charge of Brits at Wimbledon today, with a record number of home-based stars in action
Nine Brits were set to play in the singles at the All England Club, the joint highest on record for one day.
The Princess of Wales was due to arrive this morning to lend her support, with British number ones Cameron Norrie and Katie Boulter among those battling for a place in round two.
Two-time Wimbledon champion Sir Andy, 36, was playing fellow Briton and world number 268 Ryan Peniston, 27, on Centre Court this afternoon.
Fans of Sir Andy arrived to join the queue for Centre Court tickets as early as Saturday morning. Catherine Kay, 32, came over from Belgium to ensure she was the first in line for day two.
The PR executive said: “I wanted to see Andy, that’s why I came down so early. It’s a huge day for British sport.”
