Brits show depth to reach relay final and solid start for KJT

GREAT BRITAIN this morning defied the absence of their star names to charge into the women's 4x100m relay final, while Katarina Johnson-Thompson made a solid start in her bid to end her Olympic heptathlon curse.
After their individual exploits, both Daryll Neita and Dina Asher-Smith were rested for the sprint relay heats, but Bianca Williams, Imani-Lara Lansiquot, Amy Hunt and Desiree Henry looked slick in racing to victory in 42.03sec.
