Bank chief in Farage row denied £7.6m of payout

NATWEST has scrapped about £7.6 million in potential payouts to former boss Dame Alison Rose after she left the company over the "debanking" of Nigel Farage.
Dame Alison stepped down after admitting she had leaked details of Mr Farage's bank account with Coutts, owned by NatWest, to a BBC journalist.
She will forgo shares worth £4.71 million and bonuses worth £2.87 million, although will still walk away with a £2.4 million pay-off. The pay-off is likely to renew talk of "payment for failure" in the City. Mr Farage had called the prospect of Dame Alison getting any pay-off at all as "a sick joke".
