Scotland skipper Tuipulotu cops to Murrayfield boos after a shocking loss to Argentina

Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu appeared brutally honest in his assessment of their 24-33 loss to Argentina at Murrayfield, admitting it was 'not good enough' while also acknowledging that the supporters who voiced their frustrations at full-time were justified in doing so.

Having thrown away a 21-0 lead, there were audible boos from sections of the local crowd at the final whistle - something close to unprecedented at the home of Scottish rugby.

It will go down as one of the worst results, given the advantage Scotland had, in many a year.

Tuipulotu and head coach Gregor Townsend were quickly into the press area after the game's end to debrief on the result. The Glasgow Warriors' centre fronted up to the questioning with an honest assessment of the 80 minutes.

Speaking after the result, Tuipulotu stated: "I thought we started the game so well and even came out in the second half and won that first exchange.
