Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey offered a close insight into a group who are notoriously camera-shy: Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS).
Rated 18, the miniseries retold the story of the rise and fall of polygamist FLDS leader Warren Jeffs whose acts are too horrific for me to write about. It shocked the world and was watched for an astonishing 58 million minutes by audiences.
Now, Netflix has released a sequel of sorts and unfortunately it’s not the positive update audiences have waited for.
Trust Me: The False Prophet sees cult expert Dr Christine Marie and her videographer husband Tolga Katas travel to the Short Creek Community in the Arizona Strip to explore the FLDS following the arrest of Warren Jeffs.
