Final round goes to the wire

The Asset Alliance Group Scottish Rally Championship circus headed south for the final round of the 2025 season, the Coppermines Grizedale Stages Rally.

David Bogie (Dumfries) & Kirsty Riddick (Castle Douglas) just needed a top seven finish to guarantee Kirsty the co-driver’s title. Back in a Polo for this round they were clearly adopting a flat-out strategy.

Equal fastest in stage 1, they pulled clear of the chasing pack in 2 and spent the rest of the day managing the gap behind them.

Two fastest times on the last 2 stages left no doubt at all, taking top SRC points and the overall win by 22 seconds. The only blemish on a near perfect day was a damaged front wing after hitting a very deep puddle.
