Two arrested as drugs, cash and a weapon are found at town property

DRUGS, cash and an offensive weapon were among the items discovered at a Derbyshire property after police executed a search warrant earlier this week.

Officers from Ilkeston's Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) were called to a property in Stratford Street, Ilkeston, on Wednesday, where they searched a property and arrested two people.

During the search, the force found a “large quantity” of class A drugs, cash, paraphernalia related to drug use and an offensive weapon.
