THE National Forest is celebrating UK Fungus Day with a range of fun, free events for all the family.

Moira Furnace Museum and Country Park is hosting the Forest Fungi Day from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, October 4.
It will bring the fascinating world of fungi to life through guided walks, interactive displays and creative activities for all ages.
People are encouraged to explore the species found on the day, the Forest which is home to a truly strange, weird, and wonderful fungal kingdom right on your doorstep.
