Loss ‘hard to accept’ says town venue

A DERBYSHIRE bar near the town square where Liam Derrett was fatally assaulted has since shared a touching message to locals, describing the loss as “hard to accept”.

Bosk Bar and Cocktail Club, which can be found on South Street next to Market Place, shared a tribute to the teenager, urging locals to cherish their time with loved ones.

A spokesperson for the bar said: “There are no words that make sense of what happened on Saturday night in Ilkeston — and there's no reason that can ever make it right.
