CHILDREN turned back the clock for a day to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with wartime singing, dancing and community spirit.

Pupils at Turnditch CofE Primary School, part of the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust, were honoured to welcome Derbyshire's Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Brell Ewart MBE, who attended in full military uniform to speak about the historical significance of VE Day.
His stories captivated the children and the visit concluded with a heartfelt singalong of We'll Meet Again.
