Beloved Eerste River cricketer, 35, shot dead while sitting in his bakkie

TRIBUTES are pouring in on social media for a tow truck driver and cricketer who was gunned down in Eerste River on Monday evening.

Nathan "Spice" Plato, 35, was seated inside his tow truck when he was shot and killed after 6pm in Heather Park, Forest Drive, outside Time 2 Tow Spares.

A video has been making the rounds on social media showing the man's body inside his white tow truck, with the driver's window smashed from the gunshots.
