Actress succumbs to bacterial meningitis and a blood infection

ACTRESS Daveigh Chase, who was the voice of Lilo in the Disney animated feature film "Lilo & Stitch," and also played the part of that scary meisietjie who climbed out of the TV set in The Ring died on Tuesday in Los Angeles. She was 35.

Her father, John David Schwallier, told the New York Times that Chase died in a hospital from complications of bacterial meningitis and a blood infection.
