SASSA tops up SRD grants by just 10 bob

THE South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed that all social grant amounts will increase by skamele R10 from next month.

TENNER: SASSA social grants beneficiaries will see their pay pakkies increase by just R10 form the start of October 2025

The agency announced the top-up as part of the October 2025 payment cycle, in line with the national budget presented earlier this year.

The adjustment follows Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana's announcement during his 2025/26 Budget Speech, where he tabled a two-phase grant increase, first in April and a smaller increment in October.
